Zheng Runxiang, male, member of the Communist Party of China, born in 1964, is currently the president of China Economic and Financial Innovation Research Institute, president of Hainan Jinfuzu Precious Metals Research Institute, senior researcher of China Academy of Management Sciences, deputy director of International Offshore Financial Innovation Research Center, Shanghai Linxiang Director of the Hong Kong Platinum Group Precious Metals Applied Science and Technology Research Institute, Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the China Economic Alliance for Consumer Economy. He graduated from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, post-EMBA from Peking University, PhD in Finance, senior gold investment analyst, and senior foreign exchange analyst. He has successively served as deputy secretary-general of the Foreign Exchange Professional Committee of the China Society for Finance and Banking, secretary-general of the Gold Investment Analyst Qualification Review Expert Committee of the China Gold Association, director of the China Foreign Exchange Gold Training Center, president of the China Financial Innovation Research Institute, and part-time professor of Xiamen University.

Comrade Zheng Runxiang has been engaged in foreign exchange management at the Central Bank for a long time, and has been responsible for current account foreign exchange management, capital account foreign exchange management, foreign debt and foreign exchange inspection. During this period, he participated in the research and development of the multimedia database of the national key financial project “Financial Doctor”. This work won the “Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award”. He has been engaged in foreign exchange and gold market management for a long time, attaches great importance to the combination of theory and practice, focuses on the study of theoretical and practical issues of RMB internationalization, and has in-depth research on international finance, offshore financial markets, gold and currency markets, etc.

He has edited, translated, and co-authored many books such as “Digital Currency and RMB Internationalization”, “A Broad View of Gold Investment”, “Inflation You Must Know”, “The Great Collapse of the US Dollar”, “New Thoughts on China’s Foreign Exchange”, and has published in “Financial Research”, “Financial Reference”, “China Foreign Exchange” and other core academic journals publish more than 100 academic papers on gold, foreign exchange, exchange rates, RMB internationalization, etc. He has published more than 100 articles and articles on gold market analysis, international financial trends, and other print media on television, the Internet, and newspapers, making outstanding contributions to the development of China’s gold industry.
