Chen Xuanjuan, female, is a professor, doctoral supervisor, and executive dean of Dishui Lake Advanced Institute of Finance at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. She concurrently serves as director of the Cooperation Office by Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and Lin-gang, and serves as deputy director of the Financial Trade Division of the Management Committee of Lin-gang Special Area(Shanghai). He is the selected candidates of the National Special Support Program for High-Level Talents and Shanghai Overseas High-Level Talents.

Professor Chen Xuanjuan received her PhD from the University of Rhode Island in the United States in 2005. From 2005 to 2007, he served as an assistant professor of finance at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. From 2007 to 2012, he taught at Kansas State University. In 2012, he was awarded the title of associate professor with tenure. In 2019, he was awarded a tenured teaching position at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics again. Research areas include corporate governance, financial crisis and risk management, financial markets and financial institutions, financial supervision, and empirical asset pricing.

Professor Chen Xuanjuan has published several papers in the top international finance and management journals Review of Financial Studies, Management Science and Journal of Accounting Research, and published more than ten papersin key journals such as Review of Asset Pricing Studies, Journal of Banking and Finance and Journal of Financial Intermediation. Her academic papers have been selected into top international and domestic finance annual conferences for many times, such as the American Finance Association (AFA) Annual Meeting, the Western Finance Association (WFA), the European Finance Association (EFA), and the China International Finance Association (CICF), and China Finance Annual Conference, etc. She is a reviewer for the well-known academic journals Journal of Banking and Finance and Journal of Financial Service. She is chairing a National Natural Science Foundation of China project.
