Former Dean of the School of Finance, Central University of Finance and Economics, and Director of the International Finance Research Center. He enjoys special government subsidies from the State Council. He was selected into the “New Century Talents Project (National Level)” of seven ministries and commissions, the Ministry of Education’s “New Century Excellent Talents Support Plan”, and won the Beijing Higher Education Distinguished Teacher Award. He concurrently serves as the vice president of the China World Economics Association, the executive director and academic committee member of the China Society for Finance and Banking, the chief economist of PricewaterhouseCoopers China, and the chairman of the Hongru Financial Education Foundation. He has served as a senior visiting scholar at Harvard University, Peterson Institute for International Economics, and the World Bank. Research areas include international finance and macroeconomics.
