Born in January 1969. Postgraduate degree, professor. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the Department of Mechanics of Peking University in 1991, a Master of Science degree from the Department of Mechanics of Peking University in 1995, a PhD degree in Economics from the China Economic Research Center of Peking University in 2002, and from 2000 to 2001 he studied at the Australian National University, visiting scholar at the National Development Research Center.

He is currently the director of the Alumni Affairs Office of Peking University, vice president and secretary-general of the Peking University Alumni Association; executive director of the China Higher Education Society, and executive vice chairman and secretary-general of the Alumni Work Research Branch of the China Association of Higher Education.
