She graduated from the School of Economics of Peking University with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from the School of Journalism and Communication of Peking University.

She once worked for CCTV Military Channel and Beijing People’s Broadcasting Station and has many years of experience in the media industry. In 2019, “I Want to Open a Store”, China’s first celebrity-incorporated reality show with entities as the producer, was broadcast on Jiangsu Satellite TV and Youku. In 2020, she was shortlisted for the Forbes China 30under30 list. In July 2022, the founder’s interview program “Wu Shanshan Face to Face” was simultaneously launched on Tiktok, Bilibili, and video accounts. In four months, it accumulated hundreds of thousands of fans across the entire network.
